Tour Plan
This ATM Cave adventure tour begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive, part on paved highway and part on dirt road leading into Belize’s lush rainforest. This is an active, physically engaging experience. Guests spend approximately 3 hours exploring the cave system and about 45 minutes hiking through the jungle, including three river crossings along the trail. A short swim is required to enter the cave, and some areas involve navigating tight spaces before reaching each chamber.
We recommend bringing an extra pair of socks, as these are required for the upper-level chambers of the cave system.
Shorts and a T-shirt (swimsuits alone are not allowed), along with closed-toe water shoes such as Chacos, Tevas, or Keens. Please also pack a pair of dry socks and a change of clothes for after the tour.
Sunscreen, insect repellent, and a rain jacket.
Cameras are not allowed inside the cave for safety and preservation reasons; however, we are able to provide photographs for your tour experience.
